Location of the Book Details window

Before updating to 5.37 I had the Book Details window at the bottom of the screeen, under the Books List.

Now I can only have it at the right hand of the screen.

Is there a way to return it to the place I am used to ?

Ditto : but it didn't change when I upgraded to 5.37.

Set the preference @theducks refers to Narrow

Maybe this setting should be on the Book Details panel and be labelled Book Details Placement with options of Bottom and Right

What can happen, is durring the update or usage, your settings became corrupted and Calibre created a fresh DEFAULT.
rare, but it does happen.

NB you probably lost some other User preferences as well.

My thanks to both for your kind help. Reset preference to Narrow, and it now works as I like.
