Author Link takes me to wrong page in Goodreads

My default search for Author is Goodreads. Sometimes the default search will find the wrong author in Goodreads. When that happens, I find the correct author in Goodreads, then add the link to the "manage author" page.

This happened this morning to author N. Gray. The default search took me to John N. Gray. I found the correct author and added the link in Calibre. But for some reason the link still takes me to John N. Gray.

Is this a Goodreads issue or a Calibre issue? This is the first time this has happened.

calibre has no control over what goodreads shows for a given link, all it can do is pass the link to the browser, which in turn passes it to the good reads server.
