There is a book I am going to be reading soon that has a songle font embedded that needs to be there. If you were to read it, I cannot say that Amasis would have the characters this font is there to display. So you would be missing out on part of the book you have no need to miss out on. The font is not being used other than these characters. But without this font, ther eis a chance you will miss out on something you might need.

No worries. As I said I only read romances, urban fantasy and cozy mysteries. They never need another font. I have been for years running my books through Calibre and I always have the font box checked in Look N Feel. Out of the 500 books read since I started on ebooks I've yet to come across a book that needed anything but the main font. I'll be okay.

In that 1% chance that happens I will read it on my Nexus tablet or Kindle Fire or Fire Phone. I have lots of options.

It's okay. He makes a good point but I do have other methods to switch to if it ever happened and I needed more than one font. It will be okay.
