Kovid, if you need some not working examples, let me know.
Did you read that there is a new release next week that will fix a problem with the XPGT files?

The new release this coming Friday will fallback on using the file extension.

yes I did. Is something wrong to offer Kovid test examples?

It does seem mildly pointless...

If it is fixed already, test examples don't accomplish anything.

Offering to assist in any way is never pointless. If the help isn't needed then the offer won't be accepted, but to offer is a good thing.

Offering help when you know it isn't neded is called "wasting peoples' time with deliberation and forethought".

Let's remain positive, certainly your quote above doesn't apply to anyone in this thread and the calibre section isn't the place for a deeper philosophical debate.

@ DoctorOhh,

Thanks. I can not believe, what is going on here...

The answer of my replay to this annoying post was the point I start to ignore the posts of the two people, because I do not want to waste their time. Nevertheless, this later answers to you makes me crazy.

By the way, as far I know, I offered the examples to Kovid and I guess he did not need a spokesperson. He did not ask for it. So it is clear he did not need them (what is absolutly ok for me, as he surely know from our conversations in the past). Therefore, there was absolutely no reason to give such an complaining answer.

However, good to know that there are different views.

Best regards,
a disappointed guy.
