I'd consider buying it if it had a butt massager.

With a frame that weighs 2 lbs it would be almost like taking an elevator up a hill.
While it's too expensive for me, $8000 is about right for a bike that is custom built for the rider. |

Here's an idea if you wanna save some cash:
1. Buy a relatively cheap 3 lb aluminum frame. 2. Go on a diet until you lose 3 lbs. 3. Bank the $8k that you save. |

Recipe for being a fast cyclist: 1. Buy relatively decent (reliable) bike. 2. Hammer yourself into oblivion five days a week. 3. Lots of rest and nothing on the weekend. 4. Clean diet, balanced with lots of good protein, carbs and fat. $8,500, while a neat bike, is totally unnecessary. |

Honestly, I think it's still reasonable for a serious enthusiast to spend between $1000-$3000 on their road bike, maybe more for a nice off road bike.
I'm 220-230 lbs and if I buy cheap gear it breaks. Ultegra is worth the money. |
