Fix Surname Name to -> Name Surname without , to recognize

Hi there!

I have some books that have the author name swaped. And there is no comma between, so its not easy to find.

I thought about searching if there is a reverse result.
Something like the duplicates finder.

Group the author name to one group and surname to another group and search if there is a result in surname name.

But I dont now how to realise this in Calibre.

There's no builtin way to do that you would have to write a plugin to achieve it, using the calibre database API.

The Quality Check plugin can do it, and fix them too.

I can think of some ways to do that:

- Download Metadata might fix those, you can give it a try

- As Sirtel suggested: Quality Check plugin -> Menu Fix -> Swap Author FN LN (In your case, as there is no comma, you'd need to run a bulk metadata search and replace to remove the commas as a second step)

- If you have more titles by the same author in the library, and perhaps the author name is incorrect only on some of them, you may also try Find Duplicates feature called "Find Metadata variations"

Quality check PI needs the comma (or lack) to Flip name order. That is the reason you only perform the FIX on those with the same order issue.
