spaces between lines

Hi! When i transform the document´s format from pdf o epub to mobi, calibre editing tools read the end of a page as an end of the sentence. So when i want to read there are lines between the middle of the sentence. How can i change that?

It appears like this:

Argentina is a federal state subdivided

into twenty-three provinces, and one autonomous city, which is the federal capital and largest city of the nation, Buenos Aires.

Forget converting from PDF. There will always be errors when doing so. You cannot convert with any errors. Either read the PDF or read something else.

PDF is a (per) Line format
Converting does not always make changes to that aspect without help.
Under the conversion options (at the start of a Conversion), You have Heuristic Processing.
There you have Un-Wrap Factor.
This is a bit fiddly (trial and error)

I prefer to just fix this in the EPUB editor S&R

(Sorry, but I use the Sigil editor for this as I started before Calibre added one. I adjust the class= as needed) The rest I craft as needed (not very common)
1) Join (line 2 starts with )Lower
2) Join (line 2 starts with )Upper
3) Join Honorifics

Yep, I wrote many posts covering just that "broken paragraphs" problem!

Side Note: If you are doing a lot of PDF->EPUB, you may also be interested in my recent summaries in:

but know that PDF->anything is absolutely horrible and very error-prone, so avoid it wherever you can.

There will be LOTS and LOTS of errors you'll have to manually cleanup/correct.
