ADE 4.5.11 supports a second DRM. You would need to go to the github for DeDRM 10.03 and using the latest code, you should be able to remove the DRM from the second DRM. But, your version of Calibre is too old to run the version of DeDRM you may need.
So basically, if you want to keep updated, you'll need to use Boot Camp to run Windows 10 on your Mac so you can run the current calibre with the current plugins. Last edited by JSWolf; 05-20-2023 at 04:44 PM. |

Hi there
ACSM import was working great and still is for older books in out library. New books do not seem to recognize the .acsm. I am not sure how to send some kind of log... Please help me. Now book is "imported" and under title it says acsm|2324354 and then there is error: no associated program. Old books work ok with same ending (.acsm). |

If an ACSM file is imported into Calibre as ACSM and not turned into an EPUB or PDF that means there was some error during the fulfillment.
You need to check the debug log (right-click the Preferences icon, choose "Restart in debug mode", import the ACSM, close Calibre, then check the log that opens). If the error isn't clear from the log output, post it here and I'll take a look. |

I would prefer to install this from within the calibre plugins interface but cannot find it in the file type plugins even though it's shown in the list of plugins in this forum. What am I missing?

Did you click on the Get new plugins button, then typed acsm in the search box and hit enter? The plugin will only show under File type plugins on your computer if it is installed.

Hello, have been using this plugin for a couple of months now with no issues. However, in the last week or two, it's suddenly started failing to pull the book down from the Adobe server, and just sticks the ASCM file in Calibre instead. Debug log is below. Also, imports from the Adobe test server seem to work fine, but this one (from Overdrive) is having issues. Thanks.

I would take a look at the following line in your post:
File "ssl.py", line 1341, in do_handshake ssl.SSLCertVerificationError: [SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate verify failed: certificate has expired (_ssl.c:997) |

This error looks like an error on the distributor's side, they seem to have forgotten to renew their SSL certificates.
