Foreign affairs - back issue's cover

Back issues of foreign affairs fetch the cover from the latest edition, is it possible to change it to match the issue and cover?

for example, try an old issue of 1939, the cover image will be the latest edition of "..remake the world"

also, at the beginning of the recipe, there is a part to fill "year", "volnum" etc, is this section still relevant?
