My apologies
I've been very remiss in not reading PMs or any Kobo posts for a week. I've been having a hard time dealing with davidfor's passing, and also coping with my own health issues.
On the positive side... I do now have access to all of David's Kobo images (thanks to his son for that) and have them all stored on both my hard drive and my Google Drive (as well as a link to David's Google Drive). I did my first push to Kovid updating the Kobo Touch driver to handle the upcoming Clara 2E and have a new version of the driver David called KoboTouch348 to also handle the 2E. I've created GitHub repositories for both the 348 driver and Kobo Utilities, but have been remiss in tracking down the issue some have had with the Utilities and selectively saving reading locations. @PeterT
Thank you for doing this. We all miss davidfor. And we would all miss his Utilities and Extended Driver if no one took up the mantle. |

I would have to say your health comes first. If we have to wait for an update or access to a firmware image, so be it.

I agree with David. Glad you are taking up the mantle Peter, but take time for yourself.

There is no need for apologies. You have a health to take care of, and more important things than the forum. The time you spend with us is what you can afford.
Always thanks to you. |
