I wasn't quite sure where to post this, since it's called a "romantic fantasy", but some of the other Aliette de Bodard books I've read seemed more to belong here, so here it is, and I'll cross-post to romance. In any case, de Bodard's Fireheart Tiger is $1.99 right now in the US.

I read it. It belongs here and not in the Romance forums. That is, it has a small romantic component, but it's a genre book through and through which might turn off someone expecting a mainstream romance novel.
