Technically, this is the fourth generation of Eink Nooks.
  1. BNRV100 (First) used the Samsung S3C6410
  2. BNRV300, BNRV350, BNRV500 (Simple Touch, w/Glow, Glowlight) used TI OMAP3621
  3. BNRV510, BNRV520, BNRv700 (Glowlight2/3/7.8) used NXP iMX6SL and were made by Netronix

So, as far as Netronix is concened, this could be considered the second generation. Some (all?) Kobo models have also been made by Netronix. They share the same ntx_hwconfig system and board numbering scheme used in the B&N Netronix models.
