It is strange, that it is only 7 gramms heavier then the normal Era despite the bigger battery. But maybe they were able to shave some weight off elsewhere. The Era (228g) is a rather heavy 7 inch reader to begin with. It is a solid 40g heavier then the Kindle Oasis (188g).

The bigger battery must be using some space previously occupied by the casing, I guess. As to the weight, it is still lighter than my Kobo Aura One, even mores if you include a cover.
The CPU, RAM and battery seems identical to the InkPad Color 3. That's good.
