You can view the specifications of the Era Color on the websites linked in the first post. It apparently has a
2500 mAh battery instead of 1700 mAh.
It is strange, that it is only 7 gramms heavier then the normal Era despite the bigger battery. But maybe they were able to shave some weight off elsewhere. The Era (228g) is a rather heavy 7 inch reader to begin with. It is a solid 40g heavier then the Kindle Oasis (188g).
